The Home Farm - 1893
The Yarber Farms home farm, located at 8710 Machine Shop Road, Mascoutah, IL, has been a cornerstone of the Yarber family for generations. Built around 1905, the farmhouse served as the childhood home of Larry, Anna Mae, Lorraine, Irene, Dennis, and Bonnie Yarber, children of Nicholas Hiram Yarber and Mildred Viola Yarber. Their nephew, Wayne Yarber, also became part of the farm’s legacy, having lived there since the age of 14. Rooted in history, hard work, and family tradition, the farm remains a symbol of the Yarber family's deep ties to agriculture and rural life in Mascoutah.
